Legendary Nollywood actor Pete Edochie has shared a funny story about his short-lived attempt to quit alcohol.
In a recently resurfaced video, the veteran actor revealed that three years ago, he made a New Year’s resolution to stop drinking. Excited about his decision, he shared the news with his friends, who were equally thrilled. But things took an unexpected turn.
According to the legendary actor, his friends suggested they go out to celebrate the new resolution, by drinking!
“Some two, three years ago, I said in my New Year’s resolution that I was going to stop drinking. So my friends came, and I told them. They said, ‘That’s good. Let’s go and celebrate it.’ So we went back to drinking,” he recounted with laughter.
The lighthearted story has amused many fans, showcasing Edochie’s charm and signature storytelling style.
