Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola has fired back at food critic Opeyemi Famakin after he defended chef and food blogger Chef T (Diary of a Kitchen Lover) in a brewing online feud.
The drama started when Wumi accused Chef T of ignoring her request for a collaboration on her cooking show. Feeling slighted, she took to social media to air her grievances. In response, Opeyemi Famakin praised Chef T as a respected professional who collaborates with others and warned against any slander toward her.
Wumi, however, did not take his comments lightly. She accused Famakin of being a coward for throwing shade without mentioning her name directly. She also criticized his credibility as a food critic, claiming he has done more harm than good to small business owners.
“Next time you feel the urge to come for me, perhaps take a moment to reflect, establish a long-term career, or build a successful business of your own,” Wumi said.
