In a heartfelt and emotional live session with fellow content creator Sandra Benede, popular streamer Peller has opened up about the harsh realities of being the breadwinner in his family, a role that has taken a toll not just on his finances but on his emotional well-being.

The online personality, known for his candid takes and engaging content, revealed during the livestream that he has reached a stage where seeing his family brings more emotional burden than comfort.

“I no like to the see my family again. I dey send them things to make sure say them dey okay, because my mentality now don pass to dey stay with my parents.”

Peller explained that while he loves and cares for his family, the responsibility of providing for them has created a mental and emotional distance. He described himself as having “mentally matured” beyond the point of living comfortably under his parents’ roof, likening his current state to being both a father and mother to his parents.

“My thinking now don pass their own thinking, e come be like say na me be their father and mother.”

Despite having an older brother, Peller shared that the weight of the family’s financial needs rests mostly on his shoulders. This imbalance has led him to experience burnout, fatigue, and a desire for escape, even fantasizing about relocating abroad just to find peace.

“I no dey rest. If no be say them go dey find person, I for don run go America go find some place go dey stay inside…”
