Nigerian media personality Verydarkman, popularly known as VDM, has weighed in on Frank Edoho’s ongoing marital controversy and the allegations made against Nigerian singer, Chike, over his involvement in the divorce.
The social media commentator in a now viral video, claimed that the allegations would affect Chike’s career and popularity. VDM argued that the public perception created by the rumours could make some men uncomfortable inviting the singer to perform at their weddings.
“Chiké lemme now tell you the reality of everything. This matter between you and Frank Edoho and the wife don cool down. It now time for us to tell you the reality. You see, your career is about to be ruined for good. Most of Chiké’s bookings are wedding bookings. They all him the boo to the booless but recent addition is that he is the boo to the booless and a boo to married women,” he stated.
VDM also explained that although it may not look like it now, the controversy is bound to eventually have a negative impact on the singer.
”In a month Chiké might have like two wedding bookings and he charges between N50 to N70 million just to go sing for wedding because women like him a lot. Them go tell their husbands that one of my wishes is to have Chiké at my wedding. So them go book Chiké for wedding. But you see this matter so, e go mess am so, cause those bookings go stop. Which mouth women one take use tell their husbands say them want check at their wedding? The man go reason say person wey d0 Frank Edoho wife, who I be?. A lot of men wey invite Chiké to their wedding go dey suspect say Chiké don blow their wives,” he added.
