Controversial activist Verydarkman has yet again serious allegations against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
He claims that his informants at EFCC told him of the plans of the commission to arrest him on false charges. In a video shared on his Instagram page, he claimed that the anti-graft agency is targeting him due to his outspoken criticism of its chairman, Olanipekun Olukoyede.
According to Verydarkman, a lawyer recently visited the EFCC’s Abuja office and presented footage of him spraying money at an event. He further alleged that an EFCC officer confirmed he was on their radar for frequently challenging the commission’s leadership.
“EFCC Abuja, I heard you had two visitors today, an influencer and a powerful lawyer. I know you’re wondering how I found out, but I have informants in your office. They brought clips and pictures of me spraying money, saying this is their chance to get me,” he stated.
Verydarkman has built a reputation for calling out corruption and abuse of power, and this latest development has sparked reactions among his followers. As the controversy unfolds, many await an official response from the EFCC regarding these allegations.
