Those times when movie feelings hit differently as children and adults. Remember moments when watching these actresses, we would cry, laugh, feel pity (especially for those poor kids that lost their mum), get angry, and laugh at Nollywood for its silly and unrealistic film tricks sometimes.

Well, we owe some of the credit to these ladies for giving us movies that entertained us when Mum and Dad wouldn’t let us go outside to play. That’s for children, the adults were always free to watch whenever they wanted to.

Nollywood began its journey with talented, groundbreaking and astounding actors and actresses, who made our entertainment journey as kids and adults memorable. Some of these actors and actresses are no longer active in the movie industry but their mark on entertainment would never be forgotten.

These female actresses gave us their everything when acting and they deserve accolades. Credit needs to be given to these talented women who paved the way for younger female actresses and shaped female acting in Nollywood.
