Ruger, a Nigerian singer, has set tongues wagging online after a recent post implying that he sometimes takes a spiritual approach to certain issues.
The ‘Girlfriend’ singer took to his verified IG page to share a video of himself praying in a bowed down position with his face touching the ground.
Ruger explained that he was praying so that God could show his fans a vision in their sleep about when he plans to release new music.
In the video, he can be seen bowing around the dining area, as if he was getting ready to eat before the recording began.
The singer captioned;
“I’m trying to beg God to minister to my fans in their sleep and tell them when I’m releasing new music”.
His post elicited mixed reactions, with some accusing him of using God’s name in vain and others claiming he was motivated by his rivalry with colleague BNXN (formerly Buju).
