As the story continues to unfold surrounding the death of Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, the late singer’s wife, Omawunmi Aloba, has publicly cried out for help.
She claimed she and her 2-year-old son, Liam, are being threatened. In a series of social media posts, Wunmi accused Ayodele Famuyiwa, her father-in-law’s power of attorney and spokesperson, of bullying her for over 15 months since Mohbad’s passing.
According to her, Famuyiwa, who is based in New Mexico, USA, has been using TikTok live sessions to threaten and discredit her, allegedly vowing that Liam will never inherit his father’s royalties. She also claimed he has made threats against her son’s safety.
Mohbad’s widow is pleading with Nigerians to urge her father-in-law, Mr. Joseph Aloba, to conduct a DNA test to end the ongoing dispute and finally lay Mohbad to rest. She expressed frustration over the continued delays in burying her husband, stating that the attacks on her and her son have been relentless.
Amidst the controversy, Wunmi remains firm in her stance, urging justice for her late husband and peace for her son. She emphasized that Liam does not deserve the ongoing media attacks and hopes for a resolution soon.
