The ongoing divorce case between May Edochie and her estranged husband, actor Yul Edochie, has seen another development, as confirmed by May’s legal counsel, Emeka Ugwuonye. In a statement shared on his Facebook page, Ugwuonye provided an update following a hearing on February 4.
According to the statement, the court was expecting feedback from the Compulsory Conference mandated for both parties. This conference, a standard procedure under Nigerian family law, directs the couple and their respective lawyers to meet and attempt to reach an agreement on some, if not all, of the disputed issues before the court.
Despite the court’s expectations, both May and Yul informed the court that they were still in the process of deliberating, resulting in the case being adjourned until March for further hearing.
The legal process continues as the couple works through their issues, with many eagerly awaiting further developments in the high-profile case. The outcome of this legal battle could have significant implications for both parties, with the public closely watching their next steps.
