Popular Ara Singer Brymo, a.k.a. Olawale Ashimi, a Nigerian, has apologized to the Igbos for his anti-Igbo remark.

The singer of “Ara” sparked debate when he launched a Twitter against Igbos due to their political allegiance and differences.

Brymo made a various tribally motivated posts; what struck people was when he tweeted; “F**k The Ndi Igbo!! To Hell With It!!”.

After that, a Change.org petition was started calling for the immediate revocation of his AFRIMMA appointment.

The singer apologized during an Instagram live session after being pressured from angry Nigerians.

He added that the argument began when he suggested that award-winning author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie shouldn’t have accepted a traditional Igbo chieftaincy title while disregarding a national distinction, given how the area is pushing for the Presidency.
