On-air media personality, Reno Omokri, has revealed that God didn’t ask people to be content with poverty.
He stated that people should rather contend with poverty instead of being content with it.
According to him Lazarus in the Bible gained entrance into heaven not because he was poor but because he was pure.
He therefore advised people not to be content with been poor as God is not in support of poverty.
His words,
“There is nowhere in Scripture you see God telling us to be content with poverty. Don’t be content with poverty. Instead, contend with poverty. Lazarus entered paradise because he was pure, not because he was poor. Abraham was rich, yet Lazarus saw him in paradise! “.
