A video is making the rounds on social media that reveals the moment Labour Party House of Assembly candidate, Olumide Oworu and his team were attacked by thugs has surfaced online and by extension generated mixed reactions among netizens.
In the trending video, the Olumide’s Oworu team could be seen expressing their utmost displeasure following the massive attack from their political opponent while at a restaurants during their rally yesterday in Surulere Lagos.
Naijassador earlier reported that 28-year-old Oworu Olumide Abiodun will be contesting against senior colleague, Desmond Elliot, 49-year-old who has been in the Lagos State House since April 2015 till date under the party APC.
The viral video shows the outcry of Olumide Oworu’s team, destruction of tables and chairs inside the restaurant, smashing of the campaign bus front glass, the people also disclosed that their phones and Laptops were been snatched by the thugs.
However, the video has generated several reactions, while some opined by the action on Olumide Oworu team was taken by his opponent Desmond Elliot, others shared their contrary to opinions.
