Afrobeats artist Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has been named as the top Afrobeats artist of the year by Spotify.
The list which is dominated by Nigerian artists, ranked Rema as the number two spot. Balogun Ayodeji popularly known as Wizkid was ranked at the third place while Asake and Ayra Starr were ranked at the 4th and 5th spot.
The list, however, became controversial when fans discovered that Davido was missing despite being regarded as one of the top 3 biggest Afrobeats artists.
