Nigeria’s new Minister of Power, Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe, has said he will not make unrealistic promises of 24-hour electricity across the country, but assured Nigerians that there will soon be measurable improvements in the power sector.
Speaking after taking office, Tegbe admitted that the electricity sector remains one of Nigeria’s biggest challenges, stressing that his focus will be on gradual but noticeable progress rather than empty promises.
