Nigeria’s outspoken transgender figure, Bobrisky, has publicly branded the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) as the nation’s most cruel organization.
The statement came in response to the EFCC’s appeal for compassion after one of their officers was killed during a nocturnal operation in Anambra State.
Via a flurry of Instagram Stories on Monday, Bobrisky lambasted the EFCC for what he perceives as hypocrisy. He remarked,
““I just don’t like reading about the EFCC online because I feel like I want to throw up each time I read about them.”
“You’re asking the public to be human over the loss of your staff, but you are the most wicked people in Nigeria. Bobrisky declared.
He recounted his own experience, When I was in your custody, you took me to my house and searched it. When I asked you why, you claimed I was into money laundering and wanted to check if I was printing money in my house. The police are 100 % better than you all, one million times.”
This critique from Bobrisky highlights a stark contrast in public perception between different law enforcement agencies in Nigeria.
