The 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has sent warm birthday wishes to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as he marks his 79th birthday.
Obi described Atiku as an elder statesman, mentor, and “a very dear elder brother,” praising his long years of service to Nigeria. In a birthday message shared on X, Obi said Atiku’s dedication to public life even in his later years shows remarkable fortitude.
