Celebrity designer and content creator Veekee James has shut down a social media user who criticized her for expressing too much love for her husband, Femi Atere.
Veekee recently shared a romantic video from their trip through Dubai, where she booked a sleep lounge at the airport. In the clip, instead of staying on the lower bunk, she climbed up to cuddle with her husband. Captioning the video, she playfully wrote,
“You booked a sleep lounge at the airport in Dubai! This man tried to separate what God has joined.”
While many fans admired the sweet moment, one commenter suggested she was “too over him” and warned that a woman should not love a man more than he loves her.
Veekee wasted no time in firing back, responding,
“When you marry your own, no love am o… carry scale dey measure.”
Her clapback has since sparked discussions on relationships, love, and societal expectations in marriages.
