Prominent media personality and former on-air personality, Toolz Oniru, has expressed her disappointment over the deportation controversy surrounding Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, founder of SPAC Nation.
The UK-based clergyman, known for his flashy lifestyle, recently lost a legal battle against deportation to Nigeria.
This followed allegations of financial misconduct, with reports indicating that Adegboyega misused £1.87 million in church funds.
An immigration tribunal ruled against him, citing his unlawful stay in the UK since overstaying his visitor’s visa in 2005.
Reacting to the news, Toolz took to social media to criticize Adegboyega’s actions and their impact on his family’s reputation, particularly that of his nephew, Hollywood actor John Boyega.
Toolz stated she would not refer to Adegboyega as a pastor, describing his actions as tarnishing.
“John Boyega never claimed this fellow (I refuse to say Pastor) and see how his name has been dragged into this mess. Poor guy,” she wrote.
