Nigerian Street pop singer Inetimi Odon, also known as Timaya, has cleared the air on the topic of a possible retirement.
Taking to his X handle on Sunday, the singer clarified that he only took a break and was not in retirement yet.
“No be say the boy retire, the boy just been dey sleep….,” he wrote.
Famous for his songs like ‘Dem Mama’ which he released in 2005, Timaya has made a name for himself in the Nigerian music industry.
He released his first album in 2006 and has since then released 8 albums, one EP and numerous singles.
