Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable, has turned to the church for prayers after being declared wanted by the Ogun State government.
The musician was accused of assaulting government town planners during an official visit to his business location. While his gang members which included nine of his proteges have since been arrested, Portable has continued to evade authorities, pleading for mercy instead.
In a viral video posted on X, the singer was seen dressed in a white robe in a church environment, fervently praying for spiritual intervention. This has sparked mixed reactions online, with many netizens suggesting that it is merely one of his usual antics and that he will return to his old ways once forgiven.
As the situation unfolds, it remains to be seen whether the singer’s church visit is a genuine act of repentance or another publicity stunt to evade arrest.
