Actor-turned-politician Desmond Elliot has raised concerns over alleged intimidation targeted at him and his supporters amid ongoing political tension in Lagos.
According to Desmond Elliot, some of his supporters have reportedly been dismissed from the Surulere Local Government Area, while his official security detail has also allegedly been withdrawn.
“My supporters are being intimidated. Some have reportedly been dismissed from Surulere LGA, and my security detail has also been withdrawn,” he stated.
The development comes shortly after reports emerged that the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu publicly withdrew support for Desmond Elliot and allegedly accused him of actions that almost affected his political standing during his time in the Lagos State House of Assembly.
The situation has since sparked fresh political conversations online, with supporters and critics reacting to the growing tension surrounding the Surulere lawmaker.
