The spokesman of the group, Emma Powerful issued the warning Tuesday noting that the sit-at-home declared for the day was the only one genuinely declared by IPOB.
His statement stated: “We have no other sit-at-home order after 14th September. Any other purported sit-at-home including the suspended weekly sit-at-home on Mondays does not exist in the diary of IPOB.
“In fact, after September 14, there is no other sit-at-home this week. Any contrary news or speculations to this effect should be ignored.
“Anybody trying to enforce any sit-at-home order using the name of IPOB is a saboteur and does so at his peril.
“If we catch anybody disturbing the peace of Biafrans or residents in Biafra land under the guise of enforcing non-existent sit-at-home order, such a person regrets his actions because he will receive the reward of traitors”.
Powerful issued the statement even as the South East is once again locked down following a sit-at-home declared for the day.
Besides, there were two recorded incidents of a bus and a tricycle burnt and the operators wounded by alleged IPOB sit-at-home Enforcers.
An 18- Seater bus loaded with passengers and heading to Awka was stopped at Afor Udo Nanka in Orumva North local council and burnt to ashes.
Similarly, a tricycle operator on popular Arthur Eze Road in Awka was stopped, matched and the tricycle burnt to ashes.
