Popular Nigerian comedian Ganiyu Morufu, better known as Ijoba Lande, was excited after Afrobeats superstar Davido shared a clip of his comedic skit on Instagram.
In the skit, Lande humorously declared in Yoruba that he does not need motivation, a phrase that quickly became a viral meme after Davido’s post. Fans were thrilled to see the superstar acknowledge the comedian, but Lande’s reaction stole the show.

A video capturing his joy showed him stepping out of his car in the middle of a busy road, screaming, running, and even dramatically collapsing in disbelief. Sharing the moment on social media, he wrote:
“@davido post me… is this a dream??? If I’m sleeping, please wake me up… Ori Ade! Baba Imade.”
This viral moment comes amidst ongoing controversy surrounding Lande’s personal life, as rumors of his wife’s alleged infidelity with Nollywood actor Baba Tee and others continue to circulate.
