Nigerian actress and producer Bimbo Ademoye has voiced her anger over the unauthorized use of her movie title and poster by several YouTube channels.
Taking to her Instagram page, Ademoye revealed that channels such as Nollynew Series TV and Nolly Specials had illegally uploaded content using her movie’s title and promotional materials. She called on her fans to report the channels and vowed to take legal action to shut them down.
“Enough is enough!” she wrote. “My blood, sweat, tears, and hard work will not be enjoyed by someone else!”
Ademoye also cited similar cases affecting other filmmakers, including Biodun Stephen, and warned platforms like AYODEJI FILMS and a yet-to-be-named Ghanaian TV station that she would go to any length, even tagging Ghanaian officials, to protect her work.
Her bold stance has sparked online support, as fellow creatives and fans rally behind her call for accountability in digital content theft.
