Popular Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has finally addressed the heated confrontation she had with fellow actress Laide Bakare during the premiere of Eniola Ajao’s new movie.
The incident, which occurred days ago, saw both actresses making headlines after a viral video showed them in a tense exchange.
In the clip, both women appeared in matching outfits, with Laide Bakare questioning Eniola’s mental stability, prompting Eniola to give her a cold stare before walking away without a word.
In her first public statement since the altercation, Eniola Badmus took to Instagram on Tuesday to promote peace and unity within the entertainment industry. Though she did not mention Laide directly, her message hinted at the recent spat.
“Life has a way of teaching us that true strength lies not in conflict, but in unity,” she wrote. “There is no need for jealousy when we can all succeed. Your success doesn’t diminish mine, just as mine does not take away from yours.”
She urged her colleagues to rise above tension and competition, stressing the importance of collaboration and mutual support.
“There’s strength in unity and a future brighter than any victory we’ve pursued alone,” she added.
