Popular Nigerian comedian Oghenekowhoyan Onaibe Desmond, known by his stage name Destalker, has bravely shared his struggles with depression and suicidal ideation. In a recent interview obtained by Naijassador, he revealed his battle with mental health challenges, aiming to raise awareness and encourage others to seek help.

The comedian shared his story, detailing how his struggles began after graduating from university. Facing unemployment and societal pressures, he felt overwhelmed and lost. He described navigating a period of “distractions” that ultimately led him to a dark place where he contemplated suicide on three separate occasions.

He emphasized the importance of seeking help and encouraged others experiencing similar challenges to reach out for support. “When you’re suicidal, your miracle is close,” he stated, highlighting the importance of not giving up hope.
