The Supreme Court has declared Senator Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party as the validly elected Governor of Osun state.
The five-man panel of the apex court led by Justice Emmanuel Akomaye Agim while dismissing the appeal filed by the candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the 2022 Governorship Candidate, Gboyega Oyetola, noted that the appellant failed to proof overvoting.
Delivering judgment on Tuesday, a five-member panel of the apex court held that the court of appeal correctly reinstated Adeleke as governor.
