Dangote Petroleum Refinery has implemented another price slash, trimming its petrol gantry rate from N828 to N699 per litre.
Updated figures on Petroleumprice.ng on Friday confirmed the new rate, reflecting a N129 drop and signalling a 15.5 per cent reduction in the cost of petrol.
The revised price came into effect on 11 December 2025.
Below are price reductions Dangote has effected this year.
1 February 2025 – Petrol gantry price cut from ₦950 to ₦890 per litre.
27 February 2025 – Further reduction from ₦890 to ₦825 per litre.

14 March 2025 – Price lowered again from ₦825 to ₦815 per litre.

10 April 2025 – Price cut to ₦865 per litre from a slightly higher rate

16 April 2025 – Another reduction to ₦835 per litre (second cut within the week).

22 May 2025 – Retail prices were cut (market-level adjustment tied to refinery pricing).

12 August 2025 – Gantry price trimmed to ₦820 per litre.
