Afro-fusion star Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has addressed rumours of a fallout with his former label boss, Olamide Adedeji, reaffirming his loyalty amid growing speculation.
The singer, in an interview shared on his official X handle, dismissed claims of any rift following his exit from YBNL to pursue international opportunities.
Speaking in Yoruba, Asake made it clear that his relationship with Olamide remains intact, describing him as a mentor whose influence on his life and career remains significant.
He stressed that his professional growth outside the label has not affected their personal bond, noting that Olamide would always hold an important place in his journey.
Rumours of a feud had gained traction in recent weeks, especially after Olamide’s absence from some of Asake’s international performances.
