Controversy continues to trail the celebrity boxing match between singers Speed Darlington and Portable, as Speed Darlington’s lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, has publicly accused Portable of cheating during the bout.
The match, which ended in a technical knockout in Portable’s favor, has sparked debates online, with fans and critics sharing mixed reactions. Now, Deji Adeyanju is adding fuel to the fire by alleging that poor officiating marred the fight’s integrity.
Speaking out, the lawyer claimed that Portable repeatedly held Speed Darlington’s head, an illegal move in boxing, which gave him an unfair advantage. “Bad officiating. Portable was even holding my client’s head. Oh come on, this is not boxing,” Deji stated.
Calling the result unfair, Deji has demanded a rematch on behalf of his client, insisting that justice must be served in the ring.
