As Nigerians continue to await justice for the tragic death of young singer, Mohbad, more drama unfolds surrounding the paternity of the son he left behind.
Abosede, the mother of the late singer Mohbad, has accused his father, Joseph Aloba, of deliberately delaying the DNA test meant to confirm the paternity of Liam, Mohbad’s son with his wife, Omowunmi.
In a viral TikTok live session, Abosede stated that both she and Omowunmi are ready for the test to protect Liam’s identity, but Aloba is allegedly causing unnecessary delays. She emphasized that Mohbad never doubted Liam’s paternity while he was alive and questioned why it has become an issue now.
She recalled how, just days before Mohbad’s tragic death on September 12, 2023, Joseph Aloba took pictures with Liam, showing no signs of doubt about his grandson.
Abosede also revisited the controversy surrounding Mohbad’s death, accusing Naira Marley of repeatedly assaulting her son after he attempted to change his manager. She claimed that Mohbad lived in constant fear due to threats from his former label.
Additionally, she addressed actor Yomi Fabiyi, accusing him of trying to frame Mohbad’s brother, Adura, for the singer’s death. She insists the real culprits are being ignored while false narratives are being pushed.
