Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has opined that despite the structure and economy of the country, Nigeria is not that bad. This is because Nigeria offers the cheapest public university education all over the world.
Reno who is popular for criticizing the government, in a tweet stated that Nigerians especially the poor, should appreciate the government for making public university education cheap.
According to him, in other western countries some highly sought after professions like, medicine, law cost a fortune and most students pay their way through with loans.
In Reno’s words,
“Public university education in Nigeria is one of the least expensive on Earth. It is one thing that we ought to appreciate Nigeria for. In almost all Western nations, you can’t be a doctor or lawyer without owing a fortune in student loans. Nigeria is not all bad!”.
