Award winning pop star, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido, is set to perform at the closing ceremony of the 2022 World Cup holding in Qatar.
Davido who has been off social media since the passing of his son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, has been confirmed to perform at the finals of the 2022 world cup.
Recall that since the death of his beloved son, Ifeanyi, Davido had not made any public appearance except for the inauguration of his , Uncle, the Osun State, Governor elect, Ademola Adeleke.
Also he has stayed off social media ever since, except for when he deleted posts of his upcoming music festival on his Instagram page.
In a new turn of event, the closing ceremony of the 2022 world cup will hold on the 18th of December and guess what?. Davido has been confirmed to perform at the closing ceremony.
This was confirmed by Chinese businessman, Stephen Hung, who shared the news on his insta story on Thursday.
In Stephen Hung words,
“So happy my bro #davido confirmed he will be performing at the World Cup Qatar closing ceremony. Can’t wait to see him there.”
This is a goodnews for the singer who was supposed to perform at opening ceremony of the world cup but he declined the invitation, because he was mourning his son.
