Don Jazzy, the founder and CEO of Mavins Records, has a message for up-and-coming musicians.
The talent manager offered guidance to up-and-coming artists while discussing how he was able to sign Ayra Starr, Boyspyce, and Bayanni.

Don Jazzy acknowledged that it was he who first got in touch with the quickly developing vocalists.
He continued, saying that he had viewed clips of their musical performances on their Instagram accounts.
Their vocals and abilities captured Don Jazzy’s attention, and he reached out to them.
The music executive suggested that musicians use social media to promote themselves.
He wrote:
“Dear upcoming artists, From these 3 screenshots you can see that I reached out to Ayra, Boyspyce and Bayanni myself. I won’t have reached out to them if I didn’t see a sample of what they can do on their Instagram pages.
For the umpteenth time, showcase yourself on your page. I know it seems uncool to post a lot. But then again you would be an uncool artist if its only your family that gets to hear your beautiful music till you give up”.
