Nollywood icon Dele Odule opened up about the most devastating moment in his life – the death of his first child – in a candid conversation with fellow actor Kunle Afod.
The revered Yoruba actor, now 63, recounted how the sudden loss deeply affected him, particularly given the challenges surrounding the child’s birth.
Odule expressed his grief, saying,
“The news of my first child’s passing was the darkest period I’ve known. It shattered me.”
He reflected on the ordeal,
“The circumstances at birth were already tough, but when tragedy struck, it felt like an insurmountable blow. Yet, we must accept it as God’s will. I pray never to endure such pain again.”
