United States President, Donald Trump is expected to have talks with Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari over the phone on Monday.

The Globe and Mail’s Africa correspondent, Geoffrey York, has suggested that the Nigerian leader will be having a conversation with the Nigerian leader.

The Nigerian Government has confirmed the proposed talks with Trump

There no details on what the discussion will be focused on.

President Buhari due to return to Nigeria on February 6 from his medical leave in the U.S but wrote to the National Assembly informing it of his desire to extend his leave.
