Grammy-nominated Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has opened up about his yearning for more genuine human connection beyond fame and fortune.
In a recent interview, Davido revealed that simple acts of concern, like asking “How are you?”, could have a powerful impact on his well-being.
According to the Timeless crooner, these small gestures often mean more than material gifts or financial support.
When asked what he wished people asked him more often, Davido replied:
“How’re you? Because you’ll just be stressed out. Just the little things. People just asking you how are you and then having 5 to 10 minutes talks could do a lot. I obviously don’t want your money. Cause I’m up, you know. It’s just the little things that count.”
The singer stressed that despite his global success, what matters most to him is sincerity and emotional care from those around him.
