COME Tuesday, October 28, an aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and founder of Leadership Newspaper, Mr. Sam Nda-Isaiah, will formally declare his intention to vie for the party’s presidential ticket ahead the 2015 election.

According to a statement by his campaign group, Sam4Nigeria, the declaration will take place at the Idris Legbo Kutigi Conference Centre in Minna, Niger State, at 11a.m.

The group’s Executive Director, Public Affairs, Ibrahim Tukur, said that after over one year of consultations with family, friends, critical stakeholders, different groups, communities and leaders across the country, it was time for Nda-Isaiah to formally step out.

“Our country has never been in greater need for change,” Tukur said. “What came out loud and clear during our consultative tours were people telling us that they were tired of change as a slogan – they needed change as an action word now.

“The overwhelming feedback is that we also have an aspirant, Sam, who embodies the hopes and aspirations of party and country. Sam stands for big ideas about the country’s future. At a time the country is deeply divided, he offers a strong unifying message and generational connectedness. He is in touch.”

Sam is the founder of Leadership.
