Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has expressed gratitude to Nigerian music icon Dbanj for his strong support of her and her Jenifa brand.
Speaking during the premiere of her much-anticipated movie, Everybody Loves Jenifa, held on Sunday night, the movie star recounted how Dbanj went out of his way to back her project.
According to Funke, the singer, popularly known as “Bangalee,” put his own commitments on hold to lend his support.
“A big thank you to Bangalee; he was supposed to travel for a project. I begged and begged and begged,” Funke shared during her speech. “He told his guys to cut the project, and he would do this for me, and he did it at no cost.”
