Former Nigerian dancehall singer Cynthia Morgan has stirred controversy online after criticizing Natasha Osawaru, the wife of legendary musician 2Baba (formerly 2Face Idibia), for allegedly pressuring him into making a public apology.
In an Instagram story, Morgan expressed concern for the veteran singer, urging Nigerians to pray for him while casting doubts on his sudden public remorse.
The apology followed a recent interview that stirred reactions across social media.
Taking a jab at Natasha, Morgan wrote,
“You can’t purge a man like Tuface into monogamy overnight.”
She questioned 2Baba’s religious convictions, asking if he is a Christian or a church leader. Referring to his age and personal life, she added,
“At 49 with 7 kids from 3 women, are we surprised he thinks he’s polygamous in nature? I’m not.”
Morgan concluded with a plea for prayers and a biblical reference:
“Pray for Tuface. Someone says he deserves it. Indiscipline truly brings shame. Proverbs 29 vs 15. Free Tubaba.”
