Former lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has called for civil treatment and respect of #EndSARS protesters across the country.
This is coming following warnings from officials within the government against people planning to take to the streets again to demand good governance.
Reacting to this development, the former lawmaker from Kaduna expressed that the fundamental human rights to protest must be upheld.
He, however, cautioned protesters to be wary of being infiltrated by disruptive elements.
#EndSARS protesters must be treated with civility & absolute respect for their fundamental rights to peaceful dissent and resistance; And the Protesters must ensure their processions and rallies are not infiltrated by agent provocateurs, independent Hoodlums or Commissioned thugs.
