This is one of the oldest and busiest markets in Lagos, Nigeria and it is divided into four parts

Eko Idumota: This is majorly known for selling clothes and body accessories.

Eko Balogun: This is where you can find various clothes, bags, wigs, shoes, gold and gift items

Eko Adeniji: You can get building materials, keys, padlocks, and every home accessory you need

Eko Gorodom: This part of the market is best for biscuits, wafers, beverages, toiletries, and cosmetics

The market is also known as Island Market, and Naijassador can confirm it is probably the biggest market in Lagos. You can find anything there if you know your way around. It’s very popular for cheap fabric, ready-to-wear clothes and household items. The market is located close to CMS/Marina.

As the market has a lot to offer, it also has a lot of people selling, buying, trooping in and trooping out, so you have to be careful, you might go there to buy stuff and come out without your phone and wallet. You could also get lost if you don’t know your way around.

The market is arguably one of the most popular markets in Nigeria.
