Popular Nigerian musician Dammy Krane has recently been dropping subtle hints about a long time squabble with Davido.
The singer who once accused Davido of owing him royalties from a collaboration is set to drop an album named ‘5ive’ on the same day as Davido.
This action by the musician sparked reactions from fans as Davido’s fourth studio album is also named ‘5ive‘.
Although the two artists used to be friends, Davido became a subject of attack for Dammy Krane after their work relationship and friendship came to an end.
Dammy Krane got arrested by the Nigerian police in 2024 after subsequent attacks and accusations to Davido, including accusing him of being involved in the deaths of some of his associates.
Davido decided to break the silence after numerous attacks from him and called him an ungrateful person. Dammy Krane was later released after tendering an apology for his accusations towards Davido.
Both albums are set to be released on the 18th of April, 2025.
