The director of media and publicity of the PDP presidential campaign organisation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has accused the APC of collaborating with foreign nations to produce a new video against the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan.

Daily Trust reports that Fani-Kayode made the statement on Monday, March 23, 2015, at a press conference in Abuja, alleging that the nine-minute video is to denigrate, bring into disrepute and shame Nigerians, the federal government and key government officials ahead of Saturday’s presidential and National Assembly elections.

The PDP chieftain added that the video contains serious allegations on the corrupt nature of Nigerians, N48 billion allegedly spent on presidential air fleet, that the government had a hand in the kidnap of the Chibok schoolgirls among other allegations, all of which he described as baseless.

He said: “A lot of foreign footage is contained in the video which suggest that there is an international dimension to the production.

“This confirms our fears and belief that the APC is being sponsored primarily by money from foreign countries and by agents of foreign governments that are hostile to the interest of our beloved nation Nigeria.”

Fani-Kayode added that: “They went as far as to suggest that when the presidential election is fought and won and President Goodluck Jonathan emerges as the winner, that the people should call for a full-scale military intervention rather than allowing Jonathan to come back.”

Fani-Kayode some weeks ago raised the alarm over an alleged plan by the APC to announce fake results for the presidential election which is just four days away.
