Carlo Ancelotti would prefer a move to Arsenal over Everton, the UK Mail reports.

Ancelotti would favour the Gunners, because of the profile of the club and the fact he still has a house in London, from his time as Chelsea manager

The Italian was sacked as Napoli manager on Tuesday, following a 4-0 win over Genk in the Champions League.

However, it is understood that both Arsenal and Everton could pay a hefty compensation fee to land Ancelotti.

There are discussions ongoing in Italy, as to whether Ancelotti has been sacked or placed on gardening leave. The specific terms of 60-year-old’s departure were still being finalised during discussions on Wednesday.

Ancelotti has been replaced as Napoli manager by Gennaro Gattuso.
