Trinidad rapper, Nicki Minaj, has been invited to the White House after her tweets went viral over Covid-19 vaccination.
The mother of one, who was absent at the recently concluded MET Gala had created an uproar on the internet and media houses after she stated her reasons for not attending.
According to the legendary rapper, her experiences with the vaccines have been poor and scary, hence her refusal to take the vaccine.
She revealed that her cousin, who took the vaccine, got impotent afterwards.
In the series of tweets, Minaj also talked about how she can’t risk taking the vaccine while breastfeeding, explaining how she was forced to stay away from her baby when she had Covid. She described it as the worst time of her life.
In response to the infertility claim, the nation’s minister of health, Terrence Deyalsingh, has debunked the rapper’s claim.
Minaj, on her Instagram and Twitter, revealed that she has been invited to the White House to talk more about her point of view when it comes to vaccination.
She said, “…be dressed in all pink like Legally Blonde so they know I mean business.
“I’ll ask questions on behalf of the people who have been made fun of for simply being human.”
The White House, on Wednesday, also confirmed the news report which said a call was offered so that questions can be answered.
“As we have with others, we offered a call with Nicki Minaj and one of our doctors to answer questions she has about the safety and effectiveness of the vaccine,” the statement reads.
