Popular Nigerian singer Oludipe David, known professionally as Spyro, has boldly stated that his financial future is secure, claiming he would not face bankruptcy even if he were to retire from the music industry today.

The “Who Is Your Guy” crooner, speaking on the Adesope Live show, revealed that the majority of his income is derived from performing at high-profile corporate events rather than conventional industry shows.

“If I stop making music today, I’m made. A lot of people don’t know that because I don’t brag,” Spyro stated.

Spyro explained that his clean, all-audience-friendly style of music has allowed him to carve out a lucrative niche, making him a preferred choice for corporate organizations and the elite.

“I really don’t do industry shows. I do cooperate shows. I have carved a niche for myself in the industry like that,” he elaborated. “I get book for events by banks and elites like Tony Elumelu every end of the year.”

The singer noted that companies often seek out artists like himself, Chike, and Johnny Drille when hosting events where children or mixed audiences are present, ensuring suitable, non-explicit entertainment.
