Veteran Nigerian singer 9ice has reflected on his journey in the music industry, sharing an emotional account of the highs of fame and the loyalty he once enjoyed from friends and colleagues.
In a resurfaced interview clip making rounds online, the Gongo Aso crooner reminisced about the golden years of his career when he dominated the Nigerian music scene, selling out shows across the country and beyond.
“When I was on top, everybody was with me. Cabasa was with me, Jahbless, 2Phat — they all used to go on tour with me,” 9ice said.
