Reality TV personality Tolani Baj has opened up on why she abandoned her job in the United States to return home to Nigeria.
The former Big Brother Naija housemate shared her experience in a post on Snapchat on Monday, September 15, 2025.
Tolani revealed that working a regular 9–5 job abroad was something she never enjoyed, adding that she often found herself counting down the days until December, when she could travel back to Nigeria for the festive season.
“I hated working a 9–5 in America so bad. I would spend months counting down to Detty December, God abeg,” she wrote.
The reality star explained that the thought of quitting her job and relocating permanently to Nigeria was something she constantly wrestled with until she finally made the move.
“My everyday thoughts — I’m happier in Nigeria, should I just quit my job and move there?” she added.
