Victor Osimhen has been congratulated by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) on his nomination for the 2023 Ballon d’Or.
Osimhen made the list of nominees released on Wednesday night by the organisers.
The Napoli hitman made history as the first Nigerian to be nominated for the Ballon d’Or.
29 other players were on the shortlist.

Osimhen contributed 26 goals to Napoli’s title success last season.
